Final Fantasy characters in PS All-Stars? 'Stay tuned,' says SuperBot

When PlayStation fans sit down and think about which characters they'd like to see in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Final Fantasy icons like Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, and more are some of the first to come up. Thankfully, it seems SuperBot Entertainment is listening to fans. The studio is still tight-lipped on the remaining roster members, but hope was ignited at SuperBot's gamescom 2012 panel.
When asked if any Final Fantasy characters would appear in the game, Omar Kendall replied, "You'll just have to stay tuned. We haven't announced a Final Fantasy character yet, but stay tuned." Of course, Kendall's answer is by no means confirmation, but it's good to hear that the possibility wasn't outright denied. In fact, SuperBot has a rather solid track record of turning "Stay tuned" answers into announcements. Many of PlayStation's most important franchises have already been represented, and more character reveals are coming. There's a good chance one of your favorite Final Fantasy characters is among them.

Yeah and I bet they put in FF13 characters over 6-10.

I'm thinking they may actually put in BOTH Cloud and Lightning for All-Stars. That way both the fans and Square-Enix are happy. :)

It would be cool if they added a Chimera character from the Resistance franchise to the roster. H e l l, I'll even call it. I bet someone from Resistance WILL be in the final round-up! It just makes sense! XD

i want them to put in Cloud, lighting and Sora. that would be hands down amazing!! :D

If Lightning appears in the game, I'm literally not purchasing All-Stars. I didn't purchase Dissidia 012 after enjoying the first all due to her appearance in the game, it's not like it's hard not to spend my money on a game with a character that sickens me. I don't even think I'd purchase All-Stars after it hits the bargain bin with Lightning in it, the game'll be tainted and flawed the day it releases if that awful character's in it. I hate hate hate hate hate Lightning more than I can stress, and yet Square Enix keeps pushing her like she's supposed to be likable, cool or important. She's none of those things and she needs to die off quietly for non-crappy characters to replace her.

Facelord, could you be anymore of a child? What even remotely mature person cares enough to hate a fictional character that much?
Pissy kids these days get so melodramatic over the most ridiculous things. Also, as much as you "hate hate hate hate hate" her, she has a considerably large fanbase, and the number of people who would buy it because of her outweigh the ones doing the opposite.
