Rising Star Games has confirmed that survival horror title Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut will be released for PlayStation 3 in March 2013.
The update comes following confirmation of the game’s early 2013 release back in October, though up until now it remained unknown exactly when the game would show up.
The Director’s Cut release adds a host of extra content over the original 2010 Xbox 360 release, including a brand new scenario masterminded by director Hidetaka Suehiro, tweaked controls and more.
Deadly Premonition sees players hopping into the shoes of agent Francis York Morgan, who is dispatched to the town of Greenvale to investigate a grisly murder. The game is played out in a non-linear fashion, with the environment free for players to explore and their leisure.
Deadly Premonition is noted for dividing critics upon its initial release, and is one of the titles frequently championed in the case of 'games as art.'
