Gran Turismo series has sold over 67 million units

Polyphony Digital has revealed that the Gran Turismo franchise has sold approximately 67.89 million units worldwide since its inception in 1997.
The developer also provided a breakdown of figures per game, confirming that the highest-selling title in the racing series, Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, has sold 14.89 million copies. Next up is Gran Turismo 4, also on PlayStation 2, which has moved 11.6 million units.
Third place goes to the inaugural Gran Turismo with 10.85 million units sold, followed by Gran Turismo 2 (9.37 million) and the most recent offering, PlayStation 3’s Gran Turismo 5 (9.01 million).

GT3: A-Spec was great fun making Hybrids.
