Call of Duty: Black Ops II has blasted its way to the top of the U.K. All Format Charts following its global launch last Tuesday.

While taking the software crown from Halo 4, it’s worth noting that Black Ops II’s overall performance dipped below that of Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Modern Warfare 2.

As such, Black Ops II is now the fourth biggest launch in the U.K. of all time.

In terms of formats, Xbox 360 took the lion’s share of sales with 60 per cent, while PS3 made up 38 per cent.

Elsewhere, PlayStation 3-exclusive spell-casting romp Wonderbook failed to crack the Top 20, instead debuting at a rather disappointing 25. Other new releases include F1 Race Stars (26) and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (27).
