PlayStation 2 survival horror outing Siren – aka Forbidden Siren – will be hitting the U.S. PlayStation Store next week.

Originally released in March 2004, Siren takes place a spooky, remote Japanese village known as Hanuda. After a ritual goes awry, the village descends into a horrific dimension populated by the zombie-like Shibito, with players witnessing events through the perspective of ten survivors.

The game was reimagined as the PlayStation 3 downloadable title Siren back in 2008, and is known for its use of sight-jacking, where players can see through the eyes of foes.

Siren will hit PSN as a PS2 Classic on January 15.

Great news indeed. I'm hoping these guys can get back to making survival horror titles after they wrap up development on the Gravity Rush sequel.
