Publishing Deep Silver has unearthed a maggot-infested Zombie Bait Edition for Dead Island: Riptide.

Available now for pre-order, the bundle is ostensibly the U.K.’s answer to the North American Rigor Mortis Edition, which was announced last week.

The Zombie Bait Edition includes a resin statue, showing off Dead Island’s “grotesque take on an iconic Roman marble torso sculpture.”

This macabre piece stands at 31cm high and 18.5cm wide, is hand-painted and depicts the grisly remains “of one of Palani Island’s zombie infected.”

Also featured is a Steelbook edition of the game itself, artwork cards, and a weapons pack mod.

Dead Island: Riptide is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in April 2013. The game itself is billed as a spin-off to the original Dead Island, and sees the survivors once more battling legions of undead in the continued struggle to stay alive.
