Borderlands 2 has sold nearly six million copies worldwide, publisher Take-Two has announced.
For reference, the loot-happy shooter had sold around five million units by the end of October last year, becoming “one of the most successful releases in 2K’s history.”
Take-Two confirmed during its Q3 2013 report that digital revenue increased by 244 per cent year-on-year, of which Borderlands 2 was a major contributor.
Borderland 2 will be supplemented at retail with the release of the Add-on Content Pack, which includes expansions Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty and Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage.

Awesome, good job Gearbox. This is a great game. I am curious on what the 4th DLC will be?
