Obvious of Sony to not release an official day or price for competition reasons with Microsoft. Smart choice.

I still say 2013 is too early especially with all the things they announced tonight and NO backwards compatibility, People are going to be wrestling to fit time in with both systems if we're still getting big games THIS year. You simply can't finish all the potential big titles in the next 10 months they way they're spaced out, something's going to get lost in the shuffle.

And it's going to force people to wait even if the supply of the console isnt limited.

I don't get that thing with backwards compatability.. do you all really need that so desperately??.. I've been playing PS2, after PS "one" cicle was over, and I never felt in need of playing PS one games on my new, much greater console.. What's the point of playing old games, when you have brand new ones???.. I had more than enough time to complete Syphon Filter 13 times, yes 13 times, on my PS one, because for me it was trully great game! but when PS2 came out all I wanted is to play new games, not old ones! I just can't get a point of that........ if it so important to you, just be like Angry Video Game Nerd and collect all of those old consoles and play your old games if you feel so nostalgic about them...............
