Those of you hoping for some fresh content to supplement Tomb Raider’s single-player offering will be in for a disappointment – Crystal Dynamics has confirmed all future DLC will be multiplayer-based.
The company’s global brand manager, Karl Stewart, confirmed in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ feature on Reddit: “There are currently no plans in place for any single-player expansions. All of our DLC is based around the multiplayer experience.”
Tomb Raider was released earlier this month to critical and commercial success. The game is an origins story, detailing the exploits of a younger, inexperienced Lara Croft as she finds herself shipwrecked on a mysterious Island full of insane cultists and blood-thirsty wildlife.
