Late last year, Sony Computer Entertainment announced that it will offer settlements to anyone in North America who bought a PlayStation Vita prior to June 1, 2012.
Those eligible who haven’t received an email from Sony regarding a claim can now file apply online for either one of three gaming bundles, a check for $25 or a $25 PlayStation Network voucher by entering their Vita model and serial number on this form.
The compensation follows complaints made regarding Sony’s promotion of PS Vita. Though Sony has not admitted that it falsely advertised Vita, the FTC ruled that some of its TV ads, promotional posters and videos had suggested that Vita would launch with features such as remote play and cross-save. These features weren’t added until much later.
