Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that PS4 update 4.50 will begin rolling out tomorrow, March 9.
The update is one of the biggest for Sony’s flagship home console to date, with PS4 system software update 4.50 implementing a variety of much-anticipated features, including support for external hard drives, custom wallpapers, as well as the PS4 Pro boost mode, which allows you to squeeze more performance out of games that have yet to be patched for Sony’s high-end system.

Timings for the PS4 update 4.50 release are yet to be confirmed, but expect it to roll out throughout the day in North America and Europe.
