This year’s Call of Duty game will be revealed on May 1, publishing giant Activision has announced via CallofDuty.com
The hotly-anticipated military shooter will be unveiled during the basketball playoffs, as broadcast on U.S. channel TNT.
Last week it was rumored an announcement would take place on May 2 after a leaked retail poster popped up online.
The hot candidate for 2012’s Call of Duty is a sequel to CoD: Black Ops, released in 2010 by Treyarch.
