Sony’s finally stamped an official name on the upcoming ModNation Racers title for PlayStation Vita – it’s called ModNation Racers: Road Trip.
Writing in a post on the U.S. PlayStation Blog, SCE San Diego Studios community specialist, Mark Wilson, commented, "Thanks to all who submitted thousands of great ideas for the title of the new game.”
"As we mentioned, we have some "goodies" to hand out to a few gamers who helped us choose the name ModNation Racers: Road Trip. We will be contacting them very soon."
The developers received a boatload of suggestions for the game’s title, including but not limited to the following: VitaMeataVegeModNation Racers, Honey I Shrunk The Modnation Racers, In-A-Gotta-Mod-Vita, Steve, and Modnation Racers: Purple Monkey Dishwasher.
ModNation Racers first appeared on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable in May 2010, scoring favourable reviews from critics.
