The director of Sony Worldwide Studios’ 3D team, Mick Hocking, has waxed lyrical over Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception’s performance in 3D, saying the hotly-anticipated sequel suits the tech "very well."
Speaking to Develop, Hocking heaped praise on the chaps at developer Naughty Dog, and assured fans that Uncharted 3 "looks phenomenal" when running in 3D.
"Naughty Dog are obviously one of the world’s top developers," he said, adding, "and what they’ve done with Uncharted 3 in 3D will really convince people of our full-screen HD 3D solution."
"The style of game itself suits 3D very well, and the attention to detail that Naughty Dog have delivered in their 3D solution has really impressed me."
"Genuinely, Uncharted 3 looks phenomenal in 3D."
Hocking went on to describe Drake’s latest adventure as “the embodiment of all Sony has learnt about 3D.”
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be released exclusively for PlayStation 3 on November 1, 2011.
