need for speed 2017

Following the Need for Speed Payback trailer that was announced earlier today by EA, we’ve had time to digest some of the details and here’s what you need to know about Ghost Games latest racing game for PS4 and other platforms.

Need for Speed Payback story

Utilizing the Frostbite engine, the story of Need for Speed Payback focuses on revenge and set in the dark underworld of Fortune Valley. During this period, there’s a cartel called ‘The House’ that has power of the city’s police and criminals, and they own Fortune Valley’s casinos. In the new Need for Speed game, players will take the role of three characters who seek revenge against The House:

  • Tyler: A Racer
  • Mac: The Showman
  • Jess: The Wheelman

According to the trailer, these three racers were a crew who were left with nothing by The House. They’ll also be cop chases and big cinematic sequences. They’ll be a mulitplayer mode and an offline single player mode, so you won’t need to constantly have an online connection.

Cars and customization

There will be five Need for Speed Payback car classes:

  • Race
  • Drift
  • Off-Road
  • Drag
  • Runner
