IO Interactive has announced that it will pull the lid off a bunch of new 007 First Light gameplay footage in a broadcast on December 3, 2025 at 11.00am EST/5.00pm CEST.
The broadcast, which will take place on Twitch, will feature input from a number of key development team members, including Andreas Krogh (Gameplay Director) and Thomas Pulluelo (Senior Level Designer).

007 First Light will follow a younger James Bond as he attempts to earn his License to Kill, and as such he’s not going to be depicted as the quick-witted, martini-sipping super spy that we’ve become used to from Ian Fleming’s novels and the big screen adaptations.
IO Interactive has said that the team were keen not to make their depiction of Bond ‘a superman from day one,’ instead showcasing his growth as a character from more reckless beginnings, as he learns his craft during his earlier missions. Furthermore, the developer has said that 007 First Light features missions that are among the largest the company has ever made.
007 First Light is notable for being the first major James Bond video game since 2012’s 007 Legends, which depicted key events from the character’s history across all six actors’ eras, which unfold as flashbacks that Bond has after being shot during the opening in Skyfall.
007 First Light is scheduled to ship for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S on March 26, 2026.
