Destiny has shot to the summit of the U.K. All Format Chart following its launch on September 9, becoming the country’s biggest-selling new IP of all time.
The science-fiction alien shooter, developed by the creators of the multi-million selling Halo franchise, sold 46 percent of all copies on PlayStation 4, including hardware bundles.
Meanwhile, 36 percent of sales were attributed to Xbox One copies, while Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 ate up 14 percent and 4 percent of sales, respectively.
