Square Enix has announced that the demo of Final Fantasy XV will only be available with ‘Day One Edition’ copies of the upcoming high-definition revamp of Final Fantasy Type-0.
The company said that the playable teaser is "intended to be a special gift for those of you who purchase early – the demo will be limited to the ‘Day One’ edition of the game, meaning that only the first shipment is going to have the demo in it.
“So if the demo is something you think you might like, we highly encourage you to pre-order or to be quick about getting to the store on launch day, March 17, 2015,” it added.
The Japanese giant also confirmed that the demo will not be made available by any other means, so it’ll remain exclusive to those early copies of FF Type-0 HD.
Don’t forget that you can also pick up a Collector’s Edition of Type-0 HD, as detailed previously here.
Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata recently said that he looked to early NES and SNES Final Fantasy titles for inspiration when working on FFXV. The demo itself is said to last players between one-four hours.
