Battlefield Hardline multiplayer open beta – full details on maps, modes and launch date

Electronic Arts and Visceral Games have confirmed that the open multiplayer beta for Battlefield Hardline will be available to all players on February 3, 2015.

Running until Feb 8, the beta will be open to PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms and will feature three maps and four game modes. Hotwire mode will be available on the Downtown and Dust Bowl maps, with players challenged to try and steal marked cars while the cops give chase. Conquest will also be available on DustBowl with up to 64 players engaging in battle, while Heist (playable on Bank Job) will see robbers attempting to break into a bank and taking their swag to set drop off points while cops try and stop them. The final game mode will be Hacker, with players trying to hack into the likes of security cameras and triggers areas for their team to attack and defend.

The beta will also include new vehicles, weapons, gadgets and gear, with the inclusion of muscle cars, ziplines and the grappling hook, as well non-lethal takedowns, including interrogations and stun guns.

Battlefield Hardline will be available March 17 in North America, beginning March 19 in Europe and March 20 in the UK on Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. For more information, check out our Battlefield Hardline game hub.
