CD Projekt RED has moved to reassure gamers that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will still look mighty impressive in comparison to the PC release.
Up until now, most of the footage we’ve seen on the hotly anticipated fantasy-themed RPG has been from the PC release, which boasts high-end visuals powered by some meaty graphics hardware.
However, writing on Twitter, The Witcher 3 Level Designer, Miles Tost, has said the PS4 edition of the game "looks great" and revealed he had a great time playing it on Sony’s current-generation format. He also said CD Projekt RED will "show some footage" soon in regards to the console versions.
If that wasn’t enough to put your mind at rest, he added that the game “looks very pretty on all platforms" and said gamers will enjoy the experience on PS4 and Xbox One just as much as PC.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due out on May 19, 2015. According to earlier comments from CD Projekt RED, the game won’t feature any loading times as you progress through the world. Be sure to check out the latest trailer here.
