Bethesda has confirmed that the hotly anticipated Fallout 4 will only appear on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, stating the post-apocalyptic RPG would ‘never work’ on last-generation hardware.
Writing on NeoGAF, Matt Grandstaff, Global Community Lead at Bethesda, said the game won’t show up on PS3 and Xbox 360 as the "stuff we’re doing will never work there."
Fallout 4 was officially confirmed last week via a teaser trailer and a selection of post-apocalyptic screenshots. The game’s announcement set sales of Fallout 3 through the roof. Expect more info to drop at E3.
