Horizon: Zero Dawn developer ‘happy with 1080p/30fps,’ multiplayer unlikely

Horizon: Zero Dawn developer Guerrilla Games has said it’s happy with the technical performance of its ambitious new PlayStation 4-exclusive IP.

Writing on Twitter, Game Director Mathijs de Jonge, said that, "for now we’re happy with 1080p/30fps and the vast amount of content we’re squeezing in."

Furthermore, de Jonge said the Amsterdam-based studio is working to ensure Horizon never dips below the 30fps mark.

Elsewhere, the company indicated the game will not feature a multiplayer component, with the studio saying that it’s focusing on the single-player campaign at the moment.

Horizon: Zero Dawn was announced at Sony’s E3 2015 press conference to rapturous applause. The game will be released in 2016. Check out the latest screenshots here.
