Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is for gamers who ‘didn’t own a PS3’

The upcoming Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is being made specifically for those gamers who "did not own a PS3," Sony’s Scott Rhode has explained in the latest PlayStation Blogcast.

Rhode’s comments shouldn’t really come as a surprise, as Sony has said in the past that the PS4 is receiving remasters due to those who were not able to play them during the previous generation.

As such, The Nathan Drake Collection is aimed at those who missed out on one of the PS3’s most celebrated franchises.

Rhode previously teased that there’s a lot more juicy details to come on the PS4 bundle, although he wasn’t able to divulge anything during the blogcast.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is due out on PS4 in October. The game will feature the campaigns from Uncharted 1-3, though it won’t feature any multiplayer modes. Check out the latest screenshots and have a look at the game in action here.
