According to a report on Deadline, Ali Larter will be reprising her role as Claire Redfield for Paul W.S. Anderson’s upcoming Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
Larter will be joined by returning cast members Milla Jovovich (Alice) and Wentworth Miller (Chris Redfield) for the final instalment in the multi-million selling movie franchise.
Picking up after the events of Resident Evil: Retribution, The Final Chapter will see Alice and her band of zombie-killing survivors battling against the nefarious Red Queen in an effort to save humanity from extinction.
Later previously appeared in 2007’s Resident Evil: Extinction and 2010’s Resident Evil: Afterlife, but was absent from Retribution in 2012.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is scheduled to begin filming this September with a release due at some point in 2016. The series has grossed more than $915 million worldwide making it the most successful game-to-movie franchise of all time.
