Ubisoft has announced that Christoph Hartmann, the co-founder of 2K Games, has joined the company’s Creative House 2 as its general manager.
For those out of the loop, Creative House 2 focuses on the Tom Clancy series of titles such as Ghost Recon, The Division, and Splinter Cell. In addition, the free-to-play MOBA title, March of Giants, will also be part of Creative House 2, the publishing behemoth said. Speaking on Hartmann’s appointment, Yves Guillemot, CEO and co-founder of Ubisoft, commented:
Christoph is exactly the kind of leader we needed for Creative House 2 – a passionate gamer with a proven ability to bring out the best in creative teams and build franchises that last.
His experience across development and publishing as well as his management style give him a rare understanding of what it takes to make great games. l am confident Christophe will elevate our teams and brands to new heights and deepen their connection with the dedicated players who love these franchises.
The talented teams at March of Giants, Massive, Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Paris, and Ubisoft Toronto have always known how to create worlds that players lose themselves in.
Guillemot announced plans for Ubisoft to adopt a Creative House structure last summer, with each ‘house’ overseeing a group of the company’s key franchises. One of these is the Tencent-backed Vantage Studios, which began operations in October 2025 and will oversee the like of Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six.
