Devil May Cry 5 leaked on actor’s resume, could we see an E3 reveal?

Devil May Cry 5 has popped up on the resume of a Norwegian actor, indicating Capcom is busy working on the next chapter in its venerable hack-’n-slash franchise.

The listing has been removed from actor Nils Hognestad’s CV (via Shack News), although yesterday it clearly displayed Devil May Cry 5, noting the actor was involved with the project in a ‘lead role’ capacity. No specific character was mentioned, however.

Lead protagonist Dante was previously voiced by Tim Phillipps in Ninja Theory’s reboot, so either Hognestad is replacing him or he’s voicing a brand new character.

Devil May Cry 5 rumored to see the return of Dante and Nero

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors of a new Devil May Cry. Earlier this year, a French gaming blog said that Capcom working on a new instalment in the action series, with both Dante and Nero (the latter of DMC4 fame) set to return.

In addition, the actors who portrayed the characters in DMC4 posted a shot on Facebook of the pair in motion capture gear, suggesting they were gearing up for another stab at the franchise.

Capcom remastered both DmC: Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 4 for PlayStation 4 last year, although has remained quiet on the future of the series.
