Telltale Games has revealed new details on the upcoming third season of it Walking Dead videogame franchise.
Speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con this week, the developer confirmed that players will control multiple characters in the new series, specifically returning heroine Clementine and newcomer Javier.
Javier is described as a survivor "currently struggling to keep his family together in the face of the undead apocalypse." Players will switch between both characters, though won’t control both during the “same frame of time.”
In addition, Telltale revealed that Rebecca’s child, AJ, will return in Season 3, and can be seen in one of the new screenshots released below.
The Walking Dead: Season 3 is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and mobile devices this fall. The series is based on Robert Kirkman’s highly successful comic book series of the same name, and has sold over 50 million units worldwide since its debut in 2012.
