Metal Gear Survive is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One at some point in 2017. The game is set within the same universe as Metal Gear Solid V, albeit in an alternate timeline following the destruction of Mother Base at the conclusion of Ground Zeroes.
Here, we find survivors of Big Boss’s loyal army sucked into mysterious worm holes that appear overhead, transporting them to a hostile desert environment inhabited by vicious, humanoid creatures.
The game combines the Metal Gear series’ trademark stealth elements with four-play co-op, allowing gamers to team up against the marauding, zombie-like hordes as a cohesive unit.
