Rockstar Games has been keeping details on the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 close to its chest since the game’s announcement back in September last year, although thanks to a bit of digging by Red Dead Network (via NeoGAF), we’ve got a few new interesting tidbits to sink our teeth into this week regarding possible voice actors for the sequel.
Watch the Red Dead Redemption 2 announcement trailer.
For starters, the resume for actor Matt Bradford listed that he was performing motion-capture for Dutch (the leader of John Marston’s gang) in RDR2, although the reference to Rockstar’s upcoming Wild West title was quickly removed, leaving only NBA 2006 viewable. Another actor, Roger Grunwald, listed on his resume that he’s doing mo-cap for a chap named Menchen, a German Psychiatrist, though again the listing was quickly nuked.
Here’s a video of Matt Bradford in a series called Harry Humbledink.

Next up is actor Roger Clark, who resembles the character front and centre in key artwork for Red Dead Redemption 2. Upon listening to some of his previous work, it’s possible that he may in fact be the person providing the voiceover for the game’s debut trailer. Finally, more fuel to the RDR2 was added when his YouTube account shows that he ‘Liked’ a fan video pertaining to RDR2 news and rumours, indicating he may possibly be involved in the project.

Finally, both Cali Moore and Noshir Dalal were found to network with numerous actors related to the original Red Dead Redemption crew, including the voice actor for John Marston. Add all this up, and it seems we have a significant chunk of the seven key characters set to feature in RDR2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 release date
Rockstar has confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released for PS4 and Xbox One in fall 2017. In addition to featuring an extensive single-player campaign, the upcoming action-adventure sequel will take a leaf out of GTA 5’s book by offering a dedicated online multiplayer experience, similar to what we’ve seen with GTA Online. Further details on this have yet to be revealed, although the idea of teaming up with other gamers and rampaging across the Wild West, fighting off bandits and looting strongholds certainly has its appeal.
