Electronic Arts has confirmed details on the Star Wars Battlefront 2 preorder bonuses, revealing that anyone who puts their name down early for the upcoming sci-fi shooter will receive additional character themes and modifiers.

Specifically, those who preorder the Star Wars Battlefront 2 standard edition (priced at $59.99) will receive the following bonus items:

  • Exclusive Kylo Ren – and Rey-themed looks, inspired by Star Wars: The Last Jedi
  • Epic ability modifiers for Kylo Ren and Rey
  • An epic ability modifier for the Millennium Falcon

What isn’t known just yet however is what exactly the epic modifiers actually do in-game, or how you can obtain them without preordering Battlefront 2, if at all.

EA unveiled the first Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer during the Star Wars Celebration event over the weekend, confirming the game will feature multiple eras plucked from the much-loved sci-fi franchise. As expected, the sequel includes a dedicated single-player campaign, something which DICE was eager to implement following widespread criticism over the original game for its lack of content.

The much-anticipated shooter will debut later this year as previously reported, with EA confirming the Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date for mid-November on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. As expected, the title will arrive a month prior to the next chapter in the Star Wars movie franchise, The Last Jedi, which is currently scheduled for a December 2017 launch.
