Bungie has said during its latest podcast that the Destiny 2 weekly reset will take place every Tuesday.
No further details were revealed on what we can expect in terms of content for Destiny 2’s weekly reshuffle, although we do at least know that Bungie is adhering to the same timeframe as its predecessor in regards to when we can expect new content to drop each week.
The original Destiny weekly reset has run like clockwork every Tuesday since its September 2014 launch, and typically refreshes activities such as the Nightfall, Heroic Strike, Crucible playlists and more recently, Challenge of the Elders and Raid challenges. No doubt Destiny 2 will shake things up in this respect, considering Bungie has implemented a number of changes for the highly anticipated sequel.
Today marks the start of the Destiny 2 beta for PlayStation 4 users who netted early access by pre-ordering the shared-world shooter. In fact, while the initial client download of 400MB was released a few days back, Bungie has now rolled out a major update, so be sure to grab it now so you can dive right into the beta later today.
Destiny 2 is pencilled in for a September 6 release on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC edition following in late October.
