Sledgehammer Games has confirmed new details on the upcoming Call of Duty WW2 beta, which kicks off later this month for those who pre-ordered the game on PlayStation 4.

The beta for the first-person shooter will feature three maps, namely Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar. These will be playable across Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint, while players will also be able to test out the new War mode.

In addition, the Call of Duty WW2 beta will allow gamers to try out the Divisions system, with Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armoured, and Mountain Division available, although not all skills, score streaks and weapons will be offered for the beta.

Call of Duty WW2 is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on November 3, 2017. The game is the first entry in the venerable first-person shooter franchise to take place in World War II since 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War, and takes place during the latter stages of the conflict as the U.S. 1st Infantry Division pushes throughout Nazi-occupied Europe.

Sledgehammer revealed earlier this week that it’s pushing the PS4 and Xbox One to the max, and hopes the game will do for videogames what Saving Private Ryan did for films. Speaking of which, gamers will be taking part in the D-Day landings during the Call of Duty WW2 campaign among other famous battles.

Those of you who take part in the beta will receive bonus in-game content which can be redeemed upon launch.
