Retailer Play-Asia has posted a listing for an as-yet unannounced Horizon Zero Dawn Game of the Year Edition release.

Horizon Zero Dawn Game of the Year Edition due this year?

According to the retail giant, the Game of the Year Edition release of the acclaimed action-RPG will launch December 5, 2017. There’s no western launch confirmed as of yet, but the import price is listed as $49.99.

There’s no information on what’s included in the Game of the Year Edition, but we can safely assume that it’ll feature the full game plus the Frozen Wilds DLC.

Given that the Frozen Wilds is scheduled for release on November 7, there’s no reason why a GoTY Edition can’t follow.

Keep in mind there’s no official confirmation of an Horizon Zero Dawn Game of the Year Edition as of yet.

Guerrilla Games has been continually supporting its open-world RPG since its launch on PS4 in March. Most recently, the Amsterdam-based studio released Horizon Zero Dawn update 1.33.

What is Horizon Zero Dawn?

Horizon Zero Dawn is the first new IP from Guerrilla Games since it launched Killzone in the mid-2000s. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by mechanical beasts, with players controlling a seasoned hunter named Aloy.

Recently, Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot suggested that Guerrilla Games had copied a number of the publisher’s key open-world mechanics for Horizon.

“But if you look at many of the games that are being launched – even the last Sony game, Horizon: Zero Dawn – again, they took some of the same systems that we have. Because, in the industry, we always look at other games and other publishers. A game is very complex, so it helps us to provide a good experience,” said Guillemot.
