Ubisoft has unsheathed a new Assassin’s Creed Origins gameplay video, showcasing how stealth play functions in the upcoming action-RPG.
Game Director Ashraf Ismail explained that the stealth system in Assassin’s Creed Origins is different than previous games, and is more distance-based.
One of the biggest new contributors to stealth is the Predator Bow, which allows you to upgrade the damage and even steer arrows through the air after you fire them.
Distractions are also instrumental in creating stealthy opportunities. For example, you can tame animals in Origins, allowing them to wreak havoc amongst your enemies while sneak by unnoticed.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is scheduled for release on October 27, 2017 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
The game takes place in ancient egypt, and sees players controlling a Medjay named Bayek, who is responsible for maintaining peace in his local community.
One of the key elements returning for Origins are the tomb raiding sections featured in Assassin’s Creed 2. The game eschews any form of online play in favor of a comprehensive single-player campaign, much like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Ubisoft recently confirmed a new Discovery Tour mode for the game, which allows players to soak up some history lessons by freely exploring the game world.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is the first major entry into the franchise in two years, with Ubisoft taking a break last year to re-examine the brand.
