Assassin’s Creed Codename Red Gameplay To Debut At Ubisoft Forward

A report on Insider Gaming has claimed that Assassin’s Creed Codename Red gameplay will debut at Ubisoft Forward.

According to the site, content creators and gaming press will be able to get hands-on with Assassin’s Creed Codename Red during the week of Summer Games Fest, with the embargo for previews lifting on June 12. Right now it’s unknown if the title will be unveiled prior to Ubisoft Forward with a cinematic trailer and release window.

Previous reports on Assassin’s Creed Codename Red have claimed that the game’s combat will feature grisly decapitations and an evolved settlement building mechanic that will expand on the system seen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

A separate report from July last year from ResetEra member John Harker claimed that Codename Red will be the last Assassin’s Creed game to use the Origins formula, presumably referring to the use of RPG mechanics such as levelling system and XP.

Ubisoft hasn’t announced a concrete release date for Assassin’s Creed Codename Red yet, but has confirmed that the game will arrive by March 2025.
