Leaker NateTheHate2 has claimed that Assassin’s Creed Hexe, the next mainline entry in Ubisoft’s historical stealth franchise, is not going to launch until the second half of 2027.
“Game won’t launch until second half of 2027, at earliest. They don’t need to rush a reveal/announcement,” said the leaker. This claim goes against a previous report from tipster Rogue X, who stated that Assassin’s Creed Hexe would be arriving in June 2027 (although they noted that this date could still change). The leak also claimed that the game would receive three SKUs: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition, and that a new Fear system inspired by the Jack the Ripper DLC from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been added.
Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Hexe during an event in September 2022 alongside Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Not much on the game has been revealed up to this point, but it is believed the game will be set in Europe during the witch trials, and is set to be the darkest entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise to date.
According to a report by Tom Henderson earlier this year, Assassin’s Creed Hexe will likely arrive in Holiday 2027 and will feature a main character named Elsa, with the development team having revamped the game’s combat system. Furthermore, Henderson stated that he had heard Assassin’s Creed II hero Ezio will feature in the story about halfway through, where he acts as a type of mentor for Elsa.
