Assassin’s Creed III will be localized for the Japanese market in 2012, Ubisoft has announced.
The news comes alongside the launch of the Japanese website for the upcoming historical stab-‘em-up, as well as a subtitled version of the debut trailer released a few weeks back.
Previous Assassin’s Creed games have arrived within close proximity to their western counterparts, usually in the first week of December following an initial November launch. It is highly likely Assassin’s Creed III will be subtitled for Japanese audiences rather than receive all-new voice acting.
Set in the American Revolution, this latest instalment in the multi-million dollar selling franchise sees gamers hopping in the shoes of a brand new protagonist by the name of Connor, as the war between the Assassin’s and the Templar’s continues to intensify.
Assassin’s Creed III is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 31, 2012.
