Netflix has signed on two more actors for its upcoming Assassin’s Creed live-action series, with Lola Petticrew and Zachary Hart both set to appear in the adaptation of Ubisoft’s historical action-adventure franchise.
No details on what characters they will be playing have been revealed yet, although Hart is set to be a series regular, according to a report on Deadline. As previously confirmed, Toby Wallace is set to co-star in the Netflix Assassin’s Creed live-action series, although not much else about the show has been confirmed at this point.
The basic narrative has already been set in stone, and it’s similar to the games in the sense it focuses on two actions — the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order — as the wage a secret war that has spanned centuries. Production is set to kick off in Italy, which is going to act as the primary setting for the series; fans will recognise this as the same setting for Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.
While that’s exciting for those hoping for an appearance by a certain Italian assassin, it has been noted that the Netflix will feature different characters to the games.
