The PlayStation Store preorder listing for Avowed has revealed that Obsidian’s RPG will retail for $49.99 on the PS5, which means it’s $20 cheaper for Sony’s console than when it first arrived on the PC and Xbox Series X/S in February 2025.
Microsoft seems to have discounted Avowed for its own console as of January 9 however, although it’s still encouraging to see that Avowed won’t cost as much on PS5 as it did when it first hit Xbox formats. That’s at least for the standard version anyway, as you can also pick up the Premium Edition for $59.99 on the PS Store, which includes a digital art book, soundtrack, two play armours, and eight companion skins.
Last week, Obsidian announced that it will be bringing Avowed to the PS5 on February 17, 2026, which will coincide with the release of the Anniversary Update for the existing versions of the game. This includes a New Game Plus, a Photo Mode, an extra weapon type, additional characters presets and more.
