Babylon’s Fall developer PlatinumGames has revealed that it will be issuing a staggered rollout for the game’s Closed Beta, which will kick off first for the PC this summer.
Japan is first in line for the Babylon’s Fall Closed Beta on PC, which kicks off July 29. This will be followed by North America on 5 and Europe on August 12, with PS5 and PS4 joining at a later date as phase two of the rollout.
Furthermore, Platinum Games revealed that any character data made by players during the Closed Beta will not transfer to the final version of Babylon’s Fall, while sharing any details and media will be prohibited for beta testers.
Babylon’s Fall was originally announced at E3 2018 before the project went completely dark, with Square Enix re-revealing it last month as a live-service game for PS5, PS4, and PC.
The game will feature Cross-Play although it won’t be playable offline and PlatinumGames has no plans for PvP elements at this time.
