Batman: Return to Arkham trailer swoops down for launch

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has unleashed the official Batman: Return to Arkham launch trailer for your consumption.

Check it out below.

Batman: Return to Arkham features high-definition remasters of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition to the enhanced visuals, the pack also includes all previously released downloadable content for both games.

The collection does not include the prequel title Batman: Arkham Origins, although this particular game was developed by Warner Bros. Montreal as opposed to series creators, Rocksteady Studios.

Batman: Return to Arkham PS4 file size revealed

Return to Arkham takes up a fairly meaty 47.28GB of hard drive space on the PS4, although considering the size of both games—Arkham City in particular offers a huge open-world Gotham City to explore—this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

The Arkham franchise first launched back in 2009 for PS3, PC and Xbox 360, and is widely credited for reinvigorating the superhero video game genre following a string of mediocre efforts. Batman: Arkham City built on the formula by transporting The Dark Knight to a full open-world Gotham City full of activities, while last year’s Arkham Knight capped off the series on current-generation consoles.

Rocksteady return to the series with the PlayStation VR-exclusive Batman: Arkham VR, although confirmed that this will be their final Batman title.
