The publisher claimed that Exposure “tak[es] map design to a whole new level,” but didn’t go into any further details. The main highlight of the interview was of course a massive restructuring of the Battlefield franchise, which you can read more about here.
Battlefield 2042 Season 1 doesn’t arrive until 2022 and will feature a new Specialist, Battle Pass, and Portal content, “and maybe even some new sights to see.” This may suggest that Exposure is going to be released during this time, but that remains to be confirmed.
In the meantime, Battlefield 2042 will receive weekly mission and rewards, with limited time modes also arriving to help keep things ticking over until Season 1 arrives on the scene.
Battlefield 2042 was released on November 19, 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. You can read our full review here.
