The disappearance of a number of PS5 orders from Amazon UK will be investigated by consumer issues show Watchdog, the BBC has announced.
Amazon UK PS5 Missing Orders To Be Investigated By Watchdog
Earlier this month, Amazon UK failed to deliver a number of PS5 orders to preorder customers at launch, despite the courier marketing it as delivered. Some customers receive erroneous goods including kitchen appliances and even cat food.
Watchdogs presenter Matt Allwright revealed that viewers should get in touch with the show if they had information on their missing orders, and later said the show had received an “amazing response.”
I’ll be working through everything with the team and seeing how we can take things forward. Feeling this. People need a bit of escape and hope right now. I don’t underestimate the positive effects that gaming can have. A big question also to be asked about launching both so close to Christmas.
Would a good answer be to make sure that customers whose #ps5 and #xbox orders weren’t fulfilled are top of the list when new stock arrives?
Amazon confirmed last week that it had cut ties with one courier who was caught making off with a customer’s PS5 that was purchased as a birthday gift for their son.
