Beat Games has announced that it is wrapping up new content updates for the PS5 & PS4 (PSVR/PSVR 2) versions of Beat Saber, although player will still have access to the content you have purchased for those formats.
As we look to the future and plan the next big leap for Beat Saber, we have made the decision to no longer release updates for PS4 and PS5 starting in June 2025. Our passion for VR remains unwavering. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and what we can bring to Beat Saber fans who have been on this journey with us over the past 7 years.

While the game will no longer be receiving any new content on PS5 & PS4, Beat Saber will still be available to purchase for those platforms. However, no new content will be released for these versions of Beat Saber after today. Furthermore, multiplayer for PS5 & PS4 platforms will no longer be available from January 21, 2026.
Beat Saber was released in November 2018 for PSVR and was updated to the PSVR 2 in May 2023, which came as a free upgrade for those who owned the original version of the game.
