Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls may be heading to PlayStation 4 under the Director’s Cut label.
Reports come via screenshots of what is believed to be a programmer’s portfolio, featuring code for a PS4 version of last year’s supernatural thriller.
A Director’s Cut edition of the game, which stars Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, as well as deleted scenes is also mentioned in the portfolio.
Developer Quantic Dream has been beavering away on PS4 for a while now, having unveiled its visually-stunning tech demo The Dark Sorcerer at E3 last year. It also rendered Page’s character Jodie Holmes on PS4, too.
Nothing official pertaining to a PS4 release of Beyond: Two Souls has been announced, though it wouldn’t be the first time a major PS3 title has been given a next-generation facelift — The Last of Us is coming to Sony’s latest box of tricks this summer.
Still, take this info with a pinch of salt for now, as it in no way confirms that Beyond is on its way to PS4. Read our review of the game here.
