Excited for BioShock: Infinite and already have it pre-ordered? Check again. It has come to the attention of Best Buy customer service that due to the accidental overselling of the Premium and Songbird editions of the title, 3000 pre-orders have been listed as “backordered” instead of pre-ordered.
Customers that have ordered BioShock: Infinite through Best Buy are encouraged to check their email for notification and/or call Customer Service at 1-888-237-8289 to see if their order was affected. Those whose orders have been cancelled are eligible for a $10 gift card as compensation for the inconvenience.
BioShock: Infinite is due out in March for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
