The Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises are set to receive a fresh batch of merchandise and tie-in media over the next couple of months, BioWare has announced.
First up is a new comic series for fantasy series Dragon Age, which follows on the heels of The Silent Grove and Those Who Speak.
Penned by David Gaiden and featuring art from Chad Hardin, Until We Sleep sees King Alistair, Varric and Isabella teaming up with the Qunari to seek out the evil mage responsible for the disappearance of the former King. Issue 1 is due out on March 27, 2013.
Also on the card is Dragon Age: The World of Thedas, which is an encyclopaedia, billed as the “definitive” guide to the setting and contains heaps of art work. It’s due out on April 3, 2013.
Meanwhile, Mass Effect is set to receive a new one-shot comic depicting the adventures of a spectre named Blasto. Featuring a story penned by Mac Walters, Blasto: Eternity is Forever will launch on November 7 (aka N7 Day) to coincide with the release of the Mass Effect Trilogy.
Finally, if you happen to be totally minted then we recommend you hit up the BioWare Store and put down a $100 deposit on a meticulously-crafted sculpture of Sovereign. This really is one for collectors though, as it weighs in at $350.
