Pearl Abyss has announced that the Black Desert Hashashin class is now available for PS4 and Xbox One owners of the game, following the release of update 1.49. You can read more on that in our previous story here.
Black Desert Hashashin Class Hits PS4
The Hashashin class was previously available to users to tinker with in the game’s character creator, and can now be taken out into the battlefield for the first time. The class is capable of manipulating sandstorms using the power of Aal, a native Valencian god.
Some of the character’s abilities include imbuing the memory of a specific place in a sandstorm allowing him to instantly transport himself there, providing he’s close enough. Hashashin is also able to ambush enemies from above with sandstorms or give chase to them.

As a desert dweller, he can travel slightly faster in the desert and has a mildly higher resistance to desert diseases compared to other classes. He engages in melee combat with the Shamshir sword as his main weapon and his main skill, the Descent, is an AOE attack where Hashashin jumps into the air and slams his Shamshir into the ground, sending out a ripple of sandstorms.
Pearl Abyss also confirmed that the character’s arrival will be marked by a bunch of events that will reward players with items worth $130, including the Cron Stones, Advice of Valks, Blessing of Kamasilve, and a Premium Weapon and Amor box.
In addition, those of you who level up your Hashashin to 60 during the event period will receive over 600 million in silver and other rewards, including Black Stones. To facilitate this process, a 24-hour Hot Time event will be applied giving you 100% extra combat EXP and 30% drop rate increase.
Black Desert is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.
