Black Myth: Wukong developer Game Science has indicated that an update to improve the game’s performance on PS5 may take a while to see the light of day.
That’s at least according to an exchange between a player in China and Yang Qi, the co-founder of Game Science, on Weibo, with saw the player ask if the performance of Black Myth: Wukong can be improved on consoles. After acknowledging the game’s performance issues, Yang Qi reportedly said that Black Myth: Wukong is “basically bottlenecked” on Sony’s console.
The user on Reddit then said that an update is going to take a least a few months to arrive, but it is unclear if this was the player speculating on Yang Qi’s response or an actual time frame provided by the Game Science executive. Regardless, it doesn’t sound like the update will be arriving anytime soon.
