Black Rock, the development studio behind last year’s high-flying ATV racer, Pure, is now working on a street racing game called Split Second.
The first trailer, which debuted on Spike’s GTTV last night, showed cars racing throughout a city filled with deadly environmental hazards. These hazards can actually be triggered by the drivers in order to halt the progress of their competitors. It’s definitely a unique take on racing, and Black Rock certainly makes quality games, but we’re not completely convinced yet — some proper gameplay will hopefully help sway us.
